The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to procure on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1) with Integrated Design Tools, Inc., 1202 E Park Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32301-2653, a digital high-speed OS 10 camera. The specific characteristics of the OS 10 Series include storage options of up to 32 GB of integrated double data rate (DDR) and a 240 GB removable solid state drive (SSD) which is included standard with purchase. The OS 10 also supports 3840 x 2400 pixel resolution at 1,000 frames per second (fps) and uses IDT's latest complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor technology which produces extremely low-noise images. A minimum requirement for this procurement is 20 min contiguous measurements. This camera has only been found to be available from one source, Integrated Design Tools, Inc. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333316 with a Size Standard of 1,000 Employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
