This project involves dredging approximately 450,000 cubic yards from the Brazos Island Harbor entrance and jetty channels, with five options related to beach placement on South Padre Island. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. If awarded, Option 4 for beach placement adds 14 calendar days to the contract duration. All dredging and placement activities are subject to environmental windows for swimming and nesting sea turtles. The performance location is the Brazos Island Harbor and South Padre Island, Texas.
