Project Information:... W912HY21B0016 The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for FY 21 EXE Dredging SNWW Channel Project Construction. Full and Open Competition. Project Information: Hopper Dredging, Channel deepening of the existing channel from the Sabine Bank Channel to the Sabine Jetty Channel, extension of the existing channel 13 miles offshore, an option of existing channel deepening along the Sabine Pass Channel. Completion Time for Schedule No.1 for this project will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation includes Ten (10) Options for additional dredging. Completion time for the Options will be specified in the solicitation, if exercised. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount of $3,461.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The solicitation issued will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated between $25,000,000.00 - $100,000,000.00. The contractor will be required to provide Pre-award documents within 2 calendar days after Bid Opening. Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 2 calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response to the solicitation. The solicitation is advertised as “Unrestricted” full and open competition for both large and small businesses in accordance with FAR Part 14, the intent of the Government is to award one single firm-fixed price contract.
