Project Information: This procurement is to perform improvements to Cedar Bayou PA 6. Schedule 1 is to excavation of approx. 110,000 cubic yards of materials to raise the containment dike, stripping and turfing. Option 1 is to demo and replace outfall structure. Completion Time: 252 days -Schedule 1 and 172 days - Option 1 If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages in an amount $2489.00 to the Government for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (5) calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within (24) calendar days after acknowledgement of the notice to Proceed. The Solicitation will be issued as Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 The solicitation is advertised as "Full and Open Competition".
