Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for Pipeline Maintenance Dredging along the Sabine-Neches Waterway in Jefferson and Orange Counties, Texas. Unrestricted Procurement. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Schedule 1 - Dredging - East Turning Basin (stations 0+00 to 17+65)-first order of work, Port Arthur Canal (stations 0+00 to 279+58), PA Canal Junction Area (stations 279+58 to 0+00 and 0+00 to 40+00) Option 1 - Dredging Sabine-Neches Canal Turning Basin (stations 184+00 to 200+00) Option 2 - Dredging Port of Port Arthur Berths (stations 0+00 to 34+50) Option 3 - Dredging Taylors Bayou Entrance and West Turning Basin (stations -1+38 to 31+10) Option 4 - Dredging Connecting Channel and Taylors Bayou Turning Basin (stations 31+10 to 92+00) Option 5 - Dredging Sabine Pass Coast Guard Basin Option 6 - Dredging Port of Port Arthur Berths (stations 0+00 to 34+50). Last order of work. 1. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 185 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Option 1 - 14 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. Option 2 - 14 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. Option 3 - 30 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. Option 4 - 22 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. Option 5 - 12 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. Option 6 - 14 calendar days after acknowledgement of the NTP. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. 2. The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated to be over $10,000,000. 3. Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. 4. Furnish pre-award documents within 2 working days after Bid Opening. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response to the solicitation. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The Solicitation is an Unrestricted Procurement. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 21 MAY 2019.
