Project Information: The work consists of Schedule No. 1 - Project Consists of a Containment Dike Raise utilizing approximately 350,000 cubic yards of material, a Training Dike Raise of approximately 20,000 cubic yards, Drop-Outlet Structure Repairs (Clean & Paint, Repair/Replace Riprap, Walkway Reinstallation) Clearing & Grubbing, and the Installation of 1 Vehicular Barrier Gate. Completion Time: Schedule No. 1 - 265 calendar days. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $3,249.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (5) calendar days after award. The contractor shall begin work within (10) calendar days after acknowledgement of the notice to Proceed. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation is advertised as “UNRESTRICTED-FULL & OPEN COMPETITION TO BOTH LARGE & SMALL BUSINESSES”.
