The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District plans to issue an IFB for whole-house interior and exterior modernization, renovation, and repair of 32 family housing units at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The project magnitude is between ¥2,500,000,000 and ¥10,000,000,000, with an anticipated 24-month construction performance period. The solicitation is anticipated in October–November 2026, and award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract is expected no later than Q3 FY2027. The work is intended only for local sources physically located in Japan and authorized and licensed to perform construction in Japan. Bidders must be actively registered in SAM and possess a Japanese civil construction or architectural construction license; U.S. contractors normally resident in the United States will not receive SOFA official contractor or civilian component status.
