DESC2103C - Bulk Fuel Storage Tanks Phase II, Yokota Air Base, Japan

Notice ID:W912HV26RA009

The project involves constructing one 100,000-barrel cut-and-cover JP-8 storage tank with a reinforced concrete pump house on top, housing four 600-gpm vertical turbine issue pumps and one 50-gpm water draw-off pump. The work includes installation of a high-level valve, independent level alarms, automatic tank gauging (ATG) hardware, and connection of piping, valves, vaults, and appurtenances to an existing filter separator building. The new tank’s control system will integrate with the existing pump control PLC/HMI and an ATG reporting module covering all Eastside Fuel Facility tanks. A product saver tank will be provided, and a product recovery pump will return reclaimed fuel through receipt filtration to the bulk storage tanks. The tank is steel with a concrete outer wall and a rolling cover for equipment access.
