The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is pre-soliciting bids for the construction of two low-rise reinforced concrete School Age Care Centers to replace existing facilities at Camp Foster and Camp McTureous in Okinawa, Japan. The project includes activity rooms, a kitchen, administrative offices, a STEM/computer room, and outdoor playgrounds with energy-absorbing flooring. The estimated cost for Building 1 is between $25 million and $50 million, with a performance period of 1,032 calendar days. This contract is restricted to local sources physically located in Japan, authorized to perform construction work there, and must hold a CMMC Level I or higher certification at bid opening.
