THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THE NOTICE FOR DETAILS Design-Build: Repair existing twenty-four (24) officer's quarters in six buildings 955, 956, 957, 958, 959, and 983 at Camp Zama, as a whole, due to deteriorating conditions of aging building components. This project supports Army leadership's priority to improve quality of life by addressing housing deficiencies. These 3-bedroom, multiple-unit family housing buildings for O4, O5, CW4, and CW5 grades were built in 1994-1997. As for exterior works, this project will replace the existing roof sheathing, including insulation and roof drainage system, and replace the existing polycarbonate roof of canopy with new ones. It will also replace the existing exterior aluminum windows/ doors with new insulate type Alum windows/doors; it will replace terrace floor tiles with new ones; and provide waterproof sheets in underground pits. As for interior works, the project will replace existing wood doors/ gypsum wall boards with new ones w/ paint finish, and replace existing ceiling boards including LGS furring strips/ insulations/ and edge moldings with new ones. It will install new kitchen panel, replace existing kitchen set and cap board cabinet/ wood cabinet with new ones, replace the existing partition walls and existing floor finishes w/ base boards with new ones, replace floor tiles/ wall tiles/ ceiling finishes/ bath tubs/ vanity sets/ accessories in bath rooms with new ones, replace shower rooms with new unit type shower rooms, replace existing wood doors/ shelves in the closet rooms with new ones; and replace existing pipes/ accessories/ range hood fans/ ventilation fans/ ducting with new ones. Then, the fun coil units will be replaced with air conditioning units. As for electrical works, the project will replace existing lighting fixtures/receptacle outlets/ smoke detectors/ heat detectors/ outlets for telephone and CATV and networks/ the conduit wiring with new ones, and tumbler switches with new ones.
