THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR AN UPCOMING PROJECT THAT WILL INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT: UFC 4-211-01 N Aircraft Maintenance Hangars: Type I, Type II, and Type III) requires the use of the following brand name products: EQ30XX Eagle Quantum Premier Controller and X3301 Multispectrum IR Flame Detectors manufactured by Det-Tronics. The DoD Unified Facilities Criteria specifically requires that these optical detectors be immune to electromagnetic interference from aircraft surveillance and weapons platforms to prevent false activations and inadvertent discharges of foam. Failure to incorporate the Det-Tronics Corporation’s Models EQ30XX Eagle Quantum Premier Controller and X3301 Multispectrum IR Flame Detectors into the project will result in use of a system that will cause false alarms and accidental discharge of the foam fire suppression system within the aircraft hangar. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of an upcoming project. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the attached functional criteria are requested to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information: (1) Identification of the manufacturer's name, address, and country of product manufacturer. (2) Fully detailed specification sheets. (3) Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed in the attached.
