ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE See SITE VISIT information - Site Visit: You will need to visit the site for at least an hour before you submit a proposal. There will be one site visit conducted. However, the ability to attend the site visit is contingent on providing the required PP history references while also passing required background checks since offerors will be entering secured facilities during the site visit. The site visit will be held on 25 March at 9am EST. The Government is specifically seeking Small Businesses that are interested and capable of performing maintenance of elevators at the Humphreys Engineer Center (HEC). The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, material, and equipment necessary to repair and maintain elevators at HEC. Elevators are located in Buildings 2593 (2 passenger elevators), 2594 (1 passenger elevator), 2596 (1 passenger and 1 freight elevator and 1 passenger elevator at Building 3245 located on Davison Army Airfield Fort Belvoir). Services provided under this contract shall include scheduled maintenance and repair (M&R) services, unscheduled repair calls, emergency calls, and inspections support. Building 2596 and Building 3245 will require prior notification and a security escort to perform all elevator maintenance or repair. Information resulting from this RFI will be used to help determine any type of Small Business set asides for possible future RFQ.
