Answer: Because we do not know whether the lowest technically acceptable price will be under the threshold for the Miller Act, we are going to require a bid bond with submitted proposals. The United States Army Corps of Engineers has a need for the replacement of 2 Aerco boilers with the option of the replacement of a 3rd one. The contractor must meet the requirements as specified in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Site Visit: You will need to visit the site before you submit a proposal. There will be one site visit conducted on 12 May at 9am. The contractors will meet with the USACE customer, Michael Johnson, at the security desk inside the Kingman Building to begin the site visit.
