PLANNED SOLICITATION: The final Solicitation for this project will be announced anytime between 15 and 30 days after the posting of this pre-solicitation. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price. Scope of Work Summary. The Cameron Reach Water Main contract consists of the furnishing, installing, and placing into successful operation approximately 65,000 LF of 12-inch diameter water main pipe, 1,000 LF of 8-inch diameter water main pipe and all associated work. The contract includes all pipe, valves, appurtenances, roadway bores, horizontally directionally drilled pipe, backfill, compaction, testing, quality control, safety, and all other related work required to place the project into successful operation. This contract will be a portion of the Lake Marion Regional Water System with portions owned, operated, and maintained by both Santee Cooper and Calhoun County. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating work with local utility owners, property owners, Lake Marion Water Treatment Plant personnel, and Calhoun County. MAGNITUDE OF WORK: $10,000,000 TO $25,000,000 The contractor must be registered in WWW.SAM.GOV prior to award of the solicitation.
