Marine Forces Reserve Headquarters (MARFORRES HQ) is in southwest Orleans Parish in southeastern Louisiana in the city of New Orleans. The West Gate is currently non-functional due to hurricane damage, serves as an entry point for loads too large to enter through the North Gate. The existing gate opening of 60 feet will be reduced to a gate opening of 30 feet to better handle the wind loads of the area. The new gate will be a manual K-4 rated sliding gate.
