CONTRACT TYPE: The planned solicitation will result in multiple Firm Fixed Price Construction Contracts. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Government is tasked by the US Army Reserve 81st RD with performing resets in multiple buildings across various sites. The resets consist of, but not limited to, restoring all HVAC and electrical systems (interior and exterior) to include replacement of electrical panels and components to a like new condition up to current code. Replace existing plumbing fixtures, hot water heaters and associated circulating pumps, installation of water meters, etc. The two projects indicated as “Various Site Issues” below involve concrete work and asphalt paving. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary. USACE Charleston District intends to issue a solicitation potentially resulting in multiple Firm Fixed Price Construction Contracts using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procurement method.
