DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of maintenance and new work dredging of a base amount of approximately 4,012,000 cubic yards of unclassified material from the Charleston Upper Harbor which shall be deposited in Clouter Creek Placement Area (Highway Cell) and Yellow House Creek Placement Area. The work is located in Charleston and Berkeley Counties, South Carolina. The work includes complying with the requirements of the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammals Protection Act. Due to environmental considerations, Hopper Dredges may not be utilized in the execution of work under this contract. MAGNITUDE OF WORK: Between $25,000,000 AND $100,000,000. GEOTECHNICAL DATA: Survey data is hereby provided in order for early review. All other information will be posted at the time of release of the solicitation.
