PLANNED SOLICITATION: The final Solicitation for this project will be announced anytime between 15 and 30 days after the posting of this pre-solicitation. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, transportation, fuel, lubricant, supplies and materials; and performing all operations in connection with raising dikes and berms, installation of geotextile, and installation of new spillway systems in Clouter Creek Placement Area -South Cell, including clearing and appurtenant items. The work is located in Berkeley County, South Carolina. MAGNITUDE OF WORK: Between $10,000,000 AND $25,000,000. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside pursuant to FAR 6.203 & FAR 19.502-2. The NAICS Code selected for this acquisition is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, which has a size standard of $39.5 million average annual revenue. The contractor must be registered in SAM.gov prior to award of the solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed.
