This is a PRE-SOLICATATION NOTICE for Brunswick Harbor Entrance Channel Advanced Maintenance Widener O&M Dredging. This acquisition will be offered as an unrestricted competitive solicitation and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract Award. The magnitude of this requirement per DFARS 236.204(i) is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000. Project Location: The work is located in Brunswick Harbor Georgia deep draft navigation project. Brunswick Harbor is located in Glynn County, Georgia, 70 statute miles south of the Savannah Harbor, Georgia, and 25 statute miles north of Fernandina Harbor, Florida. The Brunswick Harbor Entrance Channel is 38 ft. deep MLLW with widths varying 500 to 600 ft. wide from the Atlantic Ocean through St. Simons Range. Project Description: The Brunswick Harbor Entrance Channel Advanced Maintenance Widener O&M Dredging Contract provides construction services, including furnishing personnel, transportation, mobilization and demobilization, equipment and materials required in connection with maintenance dredging. Approximately two million cubic yards of maintenance material is expected to be removed from the advanced maintenance wideners and adjacent entrance channel. The dredging scope includes the advanced maintenance wideners located at stations -14+000 to -17+000 and -20+000 to -29+000 and the encroaching shoal in the entrance channel at stations -14+000 to -29+000. Additional options in Brunswick entrance channel include stations 0+000 to –11+000 and stations –38+000 to –56+000. The maintenance material removed during this contract is to be placed within the offshore dredged material disposal site (ODMDS). Hopper dredge use within the Brunswick Harbor is restricted to 15 December to 31 March. All other dredge equipment is not restricted to a calendar window.
