This is not a request for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government will not provide any reimbursement for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 236220 and 237990. The South Atlantic Division is looking for providers of quick response design/build general construction capabilities to address a broad range of emergency actions, disaster response activities, and long-term planning and resilience efforts in the South Atlantic region, including, but not limited to: Infrastructure Recovery – Restoration, repair, and demolition of facilities, utilities, real property systems, and other infrastructure requirement that cannot be performed in required timeframes with normal contract mechanisms. Military – Facilities, infrastructure, water and sanitation systems, electrical systems, natural gas and other energy systems, fences, lighting, and roads to support troop movements and other related military missions. General contractors must have experience in both vertical and horizontal construction in the South Atlantic Division area of responsibility.
