Are you going to separate each of these out since my contractors for renovation do not do audio-visual work and audio-visual contractors don’t do construction work? A. Three (3) separate contracts are being utilized for the remodel of the executive conference room. The three are construction, audio-visual, and furniture. The construction contract includes removal of non-structural columns, trim, construction of new smart wall surround, power for the smart wall and floor, new trim, and paint as outlined in the scope. The scope contains a diagram for the smart wall. This is for reference for placement of power for the new smart wall. The new smart wall, speakers, microphones, and controls are being installed in another contract following the construction contract completion. Photos have been attached to this sources sought. Q. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District (USACE-SAS) is seeking industry information and feedback with regards to market capabilities of potential contractors that can provide a partial remodel of the Executive Conference Room of the JGL Federal Building located in Chatham Co., GA. The purpose of this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) announcement is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications from companies who have the capability to perform this work. Responses received will not be considered as proposals nor will any award be made as a result of this Sources Sought/RFI announcement. USACE-SAS will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought/RFI announcement. ACQUISITION INFORMATION: 1. Agency: United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Savannah District (SAS) 2. NAICS: 541410 - Interior Design Services 3. Acquistion Method: TBD 4. Principle Place of Performance: Chatham County, GA 5. Project Summary: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide partial remodel of the Executive Conference Room of the JGL Federal Building. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide services for partial remodeling of the Executive Conference Room to include demolition of non-structural columns, walls, and projector screen. New construction to include new steel stud wall, smart wall surround, base and chair rail, painting, and electrical relocations/new install. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance is 45 days. (See Attachment titled SAS EC Room Remodel PWS) 6. Capability Statement. The Government requests interested parties submit the following information: a. Company Information [Firm's Name, address, phone number, Email address, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Unique Entity Identifier (UIE), , and any Joint Ventures or Partnering agreements in place] b. Capability Statement. Describe your firm’s capability and experience relative to the work described in the project details. The narrative should provide the government with a complete understanding of your firm’s capability. c. All interested parties must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov/) 7. Response Information: Interested and qualified sources are highly encouraged to provide all information requested above when preparing their Capability Statement. Submission of a Capability Statement are not prerequisites to any potential future offerings; however, participation will assist USACE-SAS in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and preliminary acquisition planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government in any way. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
