The work performed may include new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, and repairs. This project is for the repair/replacement of the HVAC system in Buildings 3405 and 3425 located at Fort Benning, Georgia. Type of Contract & NAICS: This Acquisition is being solicited using FAR Part 14, Seal Bid Procedures for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air?Conditioning Contractors, with size standard of $16,500,000. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is being offered on an unrestricted basis as Full and Open competition, containing HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference under NAICS code identified above. Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction (FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204): The estimated magnitude of construction of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Anticipated Solicitation Due Date: The closing date is 12 September 2022. Period of Performance: The period of performance is 840 Calendar Days after the issuance of the notice to proceed. Project scope: Repair/replace HVAC system in Buildings 3405 and 3425. Controls, ductwork, piping, pumps, air handlers, and other associated equipment will be replaced or installed in order to bring the failed and failing systems to proper operation. This scope includes modifications to the sleeping bays, classrooms, and administrative areas of the facility in order to maintain comfortable interior conditions for both trainees and cadre.
