This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for Military Construction. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220. New Building Construction at Robins AFB Georgia. The construction is anticipated to be available for solicitation in the April/May 2022 timeframe. Approximate building total square footage: 170,000 Sq Ft. The new construction is planned to be issued for bid using fully developed plans and specifications, i.e., design-bid-build. The construction bidding is planned for base bid and follow-on incremental funding. Project Site is on the facility compound on the northeast side of the Robins AFB runway. This new facility will be immediately adjacent and connected to the existing air parking apron. Key features of the facility include: A six-bay aircraft hangar space to house various aircraft used in the Advance Battle Management System missions. This space will have special temperature and humidity control requirements not typically required in hangar spaces. The hangar space will also provide for aircraft fueling and de-fueling in the bays via fuel trucks. Approximately 22,000 sq ft of administrative space. Some space will be required to be built to ICD 705 (SCIF) standards. Approximately 35,000 sq ft for warehousing. Space for staging/maintenance of aircraft ground support equipment. Site development for logistical access and aircraft circulation. Also included are ALL interior furnishings, fixtures, and equipment, as well as all audio-visual, security and facility accessibility hardware and components. The construction duration being considered is 620 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to Beneficial Occupancy. Potentially interested businesses are to submit similar projects noting scope, dollar amount, location and dates of performance as examples of capability to successfully perform this requirement. Responses may also suggest possible solicitation parameters and/or incentives for successful competition and performance.
