Phase 1 includes 56,555 sf of interior renovation as well as mechanical/electrical infrastructure to support both phases. Interior construction of learning environments, support space and other program function is constrained due to the associated infrastructure costs for the new mechanical and electrical systems, service elevator and new life safety systems for fire alarm and sprinklers that will ultimately serve both phases. IAW DFARS 236.204 (i), the magnitude of this requirement is betw een $10M and $25M. This acquisition is being solicited as 100% Competitive Full and Open, Unrestricted acquisition under NAICS 236220.A price evaluation preference w ill be applied to bids in accordance w ith FAR Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference f or HUBZone Small Business Concerns. This acquisition is being offered as a Full and Open Competition and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract Award. Description of Work: Phase 1 includes 56,555 sf of interior renovation as well as mechanical/electrical infrastructure to support both phases. Interior construction of learning environments, support space and other program function is constrained due to the associated infrastructure costs for the new mechanical and electrical systems, service elevator and new life safety systems for fire alarm and sprinklers that will ultimately serve both phases. The work is located in Richmond County, Georgia. Period of Performance: 600 calendar days. Evaluation Criteria: The contract will be solicited and procured using FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding Procedures. Note: This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and is anticipated to be available on or about August 31,2021. Please note that the bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when issued. No additional media (CDROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
