The purpose of this contract will be for the repair, renovation, and modernization of Barracks Building 315 at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Work may will include but not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, special equipment, and material to fulfill the requirement of this Contract. Barracks Building 315 is a (33,403 Square Ft.) building that accommodates 136 personnel in 68, 2-person sleeping rooms. Facility repairs will address the interiors, life/safety, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and utility systems which no longer accommodate modern living conditions. Repairs will adhere to the 2012 revised Army Standard for Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH). This includes Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility to the building, to the lobby area and unit configuration allowing one soldier per room. Soldiers will share kitchen and laundry facilities with exhaust. Structural repairs include ADA compliant stairwells and a new roof. Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) repairs will be made to fire suppression and water supply systems, fire alarm and mass notification system, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, telecommunication, and cabling systems. Repairs will include the abatement of any lead-based paint (LBP), asbestos containing material (ACM), and/or other hazardous material (HAZMAT) found. Repairs also include storm drainage, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. The potential magnitude for this requirement is estimated between $10 Million to $25 Million dollars.
