This acquisition is being offered as a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation and will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract Award. Description of Work: Construct a Field Research Facility Annex. Project includes offices and administrative support areas, team room, secure meeting room, support shop space, restrooms, janitor closet, red and black communications rooms, electrical room and mechanical room. Project includes building information systems, NIPR and SIPR, and fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems. This project is required to provide adequate laboratory and administrative spaces to support the Coastal & Hydraulics Laboratory’s Field Research Facility (FRF) expanded military research mission of developing methods to project forces, conduct forcible and early entry, and transition rapidly to offensive operations to ensure access and seize the initiative for the Army Maneuver Center of Excellence. The work is located in Dare County, North Carolina. Period of Performance: To be determined at time of solicitation posting. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude for this project is between $1.0 million (M) and $5M.
