A-E Services - VA Medical Center San Juan, Puerto Rico Synopsis of Requirement Provide Architect-Engineering design services to support the correction of seismic deficiencies in non-structural systems to include but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, communication, fire alarm, fire sprinkler systems, plumbing, etc. of 10 buildings on the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in San Juan, PR. Estimated Cost of Construction is $338M. Estimated IDC Capacity is $75M. Design and construction anticipated from FY22-27. Market Research Objectives The intent of the market research is to identify qualified and responsible firms with experience designing to VA standards, to provide A-E General Design Services. Participation in the market research process is important in that it makes USACE decision-makers aware of the capabilities that exist in the market regarding small business. Responses will be collected via the attached questionnaire only. Data collected from the responses will become the property of the USACE and will be used to provide a snapshot of how businesses who participated are capable of providing A-E Services. USACE does not claim nor suggest participation in this questionnaire will result in consideration or award of a federal contract. Participation in the questionnaire is entirely voluntary and non-participation will not affect the consideration of any company for future federal contracts.
