The Army intends to award one firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is solicited as unrestricted request for quote (RFQ), will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 12 and 13 and is issued with a brand name justification in accordance with FAR 13(b)(1) for the Trotec Speedy 300 Flexx Laser Engraver. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 332510 – Hardware Manufacturing. The related small business size standard is 750 employees. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7, contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which all be considered. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation is limited to the electronic medium.
