Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to solicit a small business set-aside, firm-fixed price and time and materials, contract for Inspection, Test, and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems at Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) for 1 base year and 2 option years. Expectation is for qualified contractor personnel to perform scheduled ITM tasks on Fire Suppression includes Wet Pipe, Dry Pipe, Dry Chemical, Wet Chemical and Clean Agent systems. There are one-hundred forty-nine (149) water-based fire suppression systems throughout sixty-one (61) different facilities. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide complete inspection, test, maintenance (ITM), repair services, service calls, preventive maintenance, support services, alterations, calibrations and administration services as required for Fire Protection systems located on Sierra Army Depot. The overall requirement for Fire Protection Systems ITM tasks is contained in Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-601-02 based in large part on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. For non-ITM tasks, such as repairs, work shall be performed upon authorization to correct deficiencies. Repair work shall be performed in accordance with NFPA standards. Contractor personnel shall be certified to perform work on specific manufactured equipment such as AES, Edwards Signaling, Potter and/or Tyco. Contractors should not contact the Buyer seeking the solicitation, as it will not be available until approximately Mid-January 2021.
