The U.S. Army Contracting Command is conducting market research for the direct purchase of a SCADA computer and software for the potable water system at Sierra Army Depot. At this time The U.S. Army Contracting Command is NOT looking for proposals/quotes. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal or a Request for Quote and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Responses to this RFI are due 05 June 2018, 1:00 pm (Eastern Time). Responses are to be sent to richard.d.morgan18.civ@mail.mil Further action on this anticipated requirement will be determined following review of the responses from this RFI. Please fill out the sources sought and submit it to the point of contact of this RFI. Specifications: Current software and hardware is end of cycle. A new SCADA system needed to replace the older SCADA system. This effort shall come with new hardware, software, integration services compatible with Windows 10 operating system, and associated warranty and/or service agreement. Software shall include an Army approved alarm notification software. After install the contractor will train Sierra Army Depot personnel for operating all computer equipment and software.
