PURPOSE OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT: This announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation announcement of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. This is not a solicitation. No response is requested at this time. DESCRIPTION: This Pre-Solicitation Notice provides the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District (USACE NAU) intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) Contract for the purpose of design and construction of a four classroom building built between two existing buildings. The work will include but will not be limited to – design, demolition, fabrication, delivery, installation, construction, and site work. The facility and the installed equipment shall be permanent construction. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Place of performance will be in Agadez, Niger. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION: This acquisition will be subject to full and open competition pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.1. The NAICS Code selected for this acquisition is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. PLANNED SOLICITATION: This solicitation will be used to award one (1) contract. Estimated cost range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is projected to be issued during the June timeframe. The solicitation will be issued free of charge and available electronically. Paper copies of the solicitation, plans, and specifications will not be provided. It will be the Offeror's sole responsibility to ensure they have obtained all solicitation documents and any subsequent amendments, if any.
