Groundwater Monitoring in Wabasha County, MN
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers–St. Paul District intends to issue an RFQ for groundwater monitoring services for the Grand Encampment Dredge Material Placement Site Unload project along the Zumbro River near Kellogg, MN, in Wabasha County, set aside 100% for small business under NAICS 541380. The contractor will collect water samples from three monitoring wells and up to four government-selected residential wells before, during, and after active unloading in Spring 2027, plus river upstream and standing-water samples during the active phase. Samples must be analyzed by an environmental laboratory accredited under MNELAP for all specified methods and parameters. Sampling phases include approximately 90, 60, and 30 days before hydraulic transfer; approximately 3, 17, and 31 days after transfer begins with options at approximately 45, 59, and 73 days; and approximately 30, 60, and 90 days after transfer completion. A final sampling and analysis report is due within 50 days of testing completion.
