Site Preparation and Intact 2-Story Historic Farmhouse Move - Hawley, MN
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking contractors to prepare a site and pour three concrete foundations at the Pioneer Village site near Rollag, MN (Hawley, MN), and move the intact Bernhardson Farmhouse from Moorhead, MN to its new foundation. The estimated construction budget is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The farmhouse must be moved from Moorhead by the end of the 2026 construction season, with no work allowed at the destination site during the week before and after Labor Day weekend 2026. Final site restoration and seeding may occur in 2027. Performance of services will take place at both the Moorhead location (13689 3rd St South) and the WMSTR site in Hawley, MN.
