The government seeks refurbishment of eight used, government-owned anchor bar assemblies recently removed from Lock and Dam 9. The assemblies are 30–90 years old, in poor condition, and have seized components due to a historic lack of articulation and lubrication. The contractor must disassemble each matched set, clean and degrease all surfaces, perform non-destructive testing, inspect all components, blast and paint exposed surfaces, apply anti-corrosive treatments, and reassemble the units to required tolerances.
