Collect and Plant Willow Cuttings in Mississippi River Pools 3 and 5A
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District intends to issue a solicitation for sandbar willow cutting collection and planting at Mississippi River Pools 3 and 5A on USACE-owned lands within the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge. The project involves planting 750 willow stakes per site across three 1,000-foot rows at each of two sites. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a total small business set-aside under NAICS 561730 (Landscaping Services). The solicitation is expected to be posted within the next week on Contract Opportunities. Contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award.
