The requirement for a 230/460 Volt, 3 Phase, 60Hz electric motor is changed to a 230 Volt, 3 Phase, 60Hz electric motor. Amendment 1 is to include a question & answer section and extend the closing date to 30 August 2024. This contract is to supply the equipment barges in the dredge Goetz fleet four (4) new upright winches to raise and lower anchor spuds. All four (4) new upright winches shall meet the following specifications: Four (4) 65ton right-hand model winches. Winches must be electric, 230/460 Volts, 3 Phase, 60 Hz, with totally enclosed weatherproof A/C motors. Rated line-pull of not less than 12,000 Lbs. on the first layer. No-load line speed of no less than 23 FPM. Electromagnetic brake release with a spring applied brake. Brake holding capacity shall be rated at no less than 60,000 lbs. Dog latch system for securing the winch drum once the spuds have been hoisted in the upright position. Hand wheel to operate the winch in the event there is a power loss on the barge. NEMA 4 rated momentary control box for each winch for operating the winch in either direction. When the switch is released, it shall go to the neutral position and apply the spring brake on the winch. Winch drum able to accommodate 7/8 cable with a minimum drum capacity of 200’.
