This contract is for the removal of earth material, rock debris, and woody vegetation behind bluff retaining wall. The rock debris is primarily composed of loose weathered sandstone and limestone slabs that have fallen from the adjacent bluff. The area to be cleared is an 8-foot-wide section between the retaining wall and bluff from the upper most endpoint of the concrete retaining wall. The access road adjacent to the retaining wall is relatively narrow and working access will be somewhat restrictive. It is estimated that approximately 520 cubic yards will need to be removed.
