The UTV will be used by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees to access dikes, haul materials, tow trailers, remove brush, security inspections and other tasks in support of the operation and maintenance of Lock & Dam 5 on the Upper Mississippi River. The UTV must meet or exceed SOW specifications, which include (but are not limited to): Capacity: 2 Passengers Cargo Box Capacity: 500 lb Payload: 925 lb Powered Dump Box shall be gas, hydraulic or electric assist to raise Transmission: Automatic, 4WD with locking differential Towing Capacity: 1,500 lb 4 cycle gasoline engine with at least 35 HP, liquid cooled, with fuel injection Delivery shall be FOB(D) Lock & Dam 5, Minnesota City, MN. UTV will be delivered to the Government at Lock & Dam 5 during normal business hours no later than March 1, 2024. Trade In Vendor shall accept as trade-in one John Deere Gator Diesel 6x4 with the following specifications: John Deere Gator 6x4 Purchased: 1999 Product ID #: W006X4D009447 18.2 HP Diesel Engine Operating Hours: 894 Major Repairs in Last 3 Years: New Drive Belt, New Clutch, Attempted repairs to dump lift mechanism Known Issues: Plastic body fenders and sides cracked/breaking off, Dump does not function properly (requires manual assist), Tailgate does not stay closed This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation.
