Physical Support Branch, Maintenance and Repair Unit, request the award of a contract for the purchase of 10,000 gallons of #2 dyed off-road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL). The Maintenance and Repair unit will be working at Lock and Dam 2 in Hasting, MN for the non-navigation season dewatering and needs to refuel. The vessels are currently transporting to Lock and Dam 2. This contract is to supply fuel for the crane barge Leonard and attending equipment. Scope of Work Purchase of 10,000 gallons of #2 dyed off-road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL). Fuel delivery shall be smaller quantities of 1,000 to 4,000 gallons. Delivery will have to be coordinated with the onsite supervisor (contact info given at award). Fuel deliveries shall be between November 13th and December 4th, 2023. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. Fuel will be transferred by straight truck with fuel nozzle type fill capabilities. The transport trucks will be responsible for all transport truck activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge.
