The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Valley Division, St. Paul District has a requirement for a 5-year service contract to plant, monitor, and maintain native forest habitat in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The total area of the Base Contract includes 247.8 acres with another 5.4-acre option. All work is located in Cass County, North Dakota. Sites will serve as environmental mitigation for impacts associated with the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project (FMM Project). This project is solicited as an Invitation for Bid in accordance with FAR 14 - Sealed Bidding procedures and the intention of awarding a single firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry with a small business size standard of $11.5M. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District (USACE) has a requirement entitled: Forest Mitigation Services - Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project (FMM). USACE intends to issue an Invitation for Bid set aside 100% for a Small Business competition that results in award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract. The general scope of the FMM Forest Mitigation Services requirement is to plant, monitor, and maintain native forest habitat in the Fargo Moorhead Area. Monitoring and maintenance of forest and natural areas on approximately 250 acres, to include the planting and establishment of trees, grasses, and forbs on up to 150 acres. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 115310 Support Activities for Forestry with a small business size standard of $11.5 Million. This synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).
