AMENDMENT 0001 HAS BEEN POSTED - Amendment 1 extends the solicitation close date. Please specificatlly acknowledge receipt of the amendment in your offer. The preferred method of acknowledgement is to submit the signed first page of the SF30 Amendment form with your quote. The Government requires a Side by Side (SxS) Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) with a powered dump box. The UTV will be used by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees to access dikes, haul materials, tow trailers, remove brush, security inspections and other tasks in support of the operation and maintenance of Lock & Dam 5 on the Upper Mississippi River. The UTV must meet or exceed the following specifications: • Capacity (Passenger): 2 • Cargo Box Capacity: 500 lb • Payload: 925 lb • Dump Box shall be Gas, Hydraulic or Electric Assist to raise • Single Latch Tailgate • Towing Capacity: 1,500 lb • Tow Hitch: 2 inch hitch receiver • Ground Clearance: 10 inches • Transmission: Automatic, 4WD with locking differential • Fuel Capacity: 8 Gal • 4 Cycle gasoline engine, liquid cooled, Fuel Injection • 35 HP • 1 Year warranty Delivery shall be FOB(D) Lock & Dam 5, Minnesota City, MN. UTV will be delivered to the Government at Lock & Dam 5 during normal business hours no later than November 30, 2023. Trade In Vendor shall accept as trade-in one John Deere Gator with the following specifications: • John Deere Gator 6x4 • Purchased: 1999 • Serial #: W006X4D009447 • 18.2 HP Diesel Engine • Operating Hours: 894 • Major Repairs in Last 3 Years: New Drive Belt, New Clutch, Attempted repairs to dump lift mechanism • Known Issues: Plastic body fenders and sides cracked/breaking off, Dump does not function properly (requires manual assist), Tailgate does not stay closed Trade-in UTV may be inspected by appointment at Lock & Dam 5.
