The Government requires a contractor to supply two (2) large off-road rubber tracked dump carriers, name brand Terramac RT14 or Morooka MST 2200VD or equal, on a rental basis. Each tracked carrier shall have a load capacity of at least 24,000 lbs, and a dump box for transporting bulk materials (i.e. rip rap, sand, gravel, top soil, etc.). The rental period shall be one month (4) weeks, with two additional 1 week option periods, exercisable by the Government. Delivery shall be no later than 3 April 2023, with tentative pickup on 1 May 2023 at Brownville, MN. Vendor shall provide customer support, with repair or replacement of non-functional equipment within 72 hours of notice. Please Note: This contract is for RENTAL of the equipment without operators. Equipment will be operated by Government personnel with tracked heavy construction equipment experience. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS code 532412. The equipment being sought is two (2) Terramac RT14 or Morooka MST 2200VD rubber-tracked off-road dump carriers, or equal, with salient characteristics that include: rubber tracks at least 28" wide, diesel engine at least 200 HP, load capacity of at least 12 tons, hydraulic operated dump bed. Quotes must include the manufacturer/model number and specs of the equipment being offered, sufficient to demonstrate the machines meet requirements. Rental price shall include all transportation, delivery and pickup fees, required maintenance (above operator level) and breakdown support.
