AMENDMENT 0001 HAS BEEN POSTED The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a Contractor to construct a storage building attached to the main office building at Cross Lake Recreation Area, in Crow Wing County, MN, approximately 35 miles northeast of Brainerd. The contract work includes, but is not limited to the following: Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation required to supply payment & performance bonds, prepare the site, pour a reinforced concrete foundation slab w ith in-floor hydronic heating system, and erect an approx. 66 ft x 24 ft storage building/garage attached to the Main Office building at Cross Lake Recreation Area, in Crow Wing County, MN. The building shall include, but are not limited to three 16 ft x 9 ft steel insulated overhead garage doors w ith electric openers, two 36 in x 80 in insulated steel service doors, galvanized steel siding, two 22 in octagonal insulated windows, and a green Met-Tile (or equal) steel roof. Contractor shall apply high pressure spray polyurethane foam insulation to underside of roof and inside of all exterior w alls. Contractor shall install and connect a 400-amp meter base and electric panel. The magnitude of construction on this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS code 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000. This solicitation should result in one (1) firm-fixed price (FFP) construction contract, awarded using SAP. This is NOT an Invitation for Bids (IFB) - No Bid Bonds are required. Interested parties are highly encouraged to visit the site prior to quoting. See SOW C-1.4 and clause 52.236-27. There is NOT a scheduled site visit. OFFEROR SHALL BE REGISTERED IN SAM (System for Award Management) https://www.sam.gov to include the FAR and DFARS Reps and Certs sections with the NAICS code applicable to the solicitation. Quotes received after the deadline are considered late, and may not be considered for award. AMENDMENT 0001 HAS BEEN ADDED. Amendment 0001 extends the solicitation close to 11:00 AM (Central) on 13 December 2022. The amendment makes changes to the specifications which include: Clarification of the overhead door dimensions - 16 ft wide x 9 ft high Removal of error in Notes to Quoters about scheduled site visit (There in no scheduled site visit) Change in requirement for Roof Sheathing to 5/8 inch OSB Change to electrical requirements.
