The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to supply and install LED outdoor lighting at three Government facilities in the Minnesota Headwaters region. This is a request for quotes (RFQ) for construction. It is NOT an invitation for bid - Bid Bonds are NOT required. Work will include supplying Performance and Payment Bonds, removal of existing lighting/fixtures, proper disposal of fluorescent and high pressure sodium bulbs, installation of new light poles, installing underground wire, and the acquisition and installation of new LED light fixtures of multiple types. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns under NAICS 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring, with a small business size standard of $16,500,000. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. FACILITIES Winnibigoshish (Winnie) Dam and Recreation Area is located 15 miles northwest of Deer River, MN on County Road # 9 in Itasca County Pokegama Dam and Recreation Area is located 2 miles west of Grand Rapids, MN on State Highway # 2 in Itasca County Sandy Lake Dam and Recreation Area is located 12 miles north of McGregor, Minnesota on State Highway 65 in Aitkin County WORK Lighting to be replaced with new LED lights and fixtures of similar style to the existing fixtures and light (lumens). Winnie Dam - Replace 2 security lights on Shop Building; Replace 1 security light near Fish Cleaning House; Replace 4 high pressure sodium security lights on Dam; Replace 7 CFL lights on Dam Gate Structure; Replace 1 CFL light on Dam Control House. Pokegama Dam - Replace 13 CFL lights on Dam structure; Replace 6 CFL lights on Dam Catwalk; Replace 2 high pressure sodium security lights on either end of Dam; Replace 2 high pressure sodium security lights in Parking Lot; Add 2 new security lights and poles to Parking Lot, install underground wire from existing light. Sandy Lake Dam - Replace 2 overhead lights in Picnic Shelter; Replace 8 overhead exterior lights, 1 interior overhead light, and install 1 new overhead light in Comfort Station; Replace 2 interior/exterior wall lights in North Vault Restroom; Replace 2 interior/exterior wall lights, 2 exterior wall pack lights in South Vault Restroom; Replace 1 exterior wall light fixture and 2 interior/exterior lights above tables in North Fish Cleaning Station; Replace 7 incandescent light fixtures with LED track lighting and install new security light on Storage Garage. Quotes must be RECEIVED no later than the Offer Due Date/Time listed in the SAM.gov solicitation posting. Quotes received after the deadline are considered late, and may not be considered for award. Quotes must include specific acknowledgement of all amendments to the solicitation (if any). Quotes that do not acknowledge amendments may not be considered for award.
