The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District (MVP) has a requirement to repair the quick coupler and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system on our Liebherr R954 excavator. The required repairs must be completed by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technician, from an OEM facility, using genuine OEM parts. All work must be completed at the Fountain City Service Base in Fountain City, Wisconsin where the excavator is currently located. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310; Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $8M. This procurement is unrestricted. This synopsis is not a request for quotes (RFQ), proposals (RFP), or in an invitation for bids (IFB). This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities at SAM.gov on or before April 28, 2022. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 10-day time frame is an estimate and subject to change.
