The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all plant, materials, equipment, supplies, labor, supervision, and transportation and performing all work as required by the CLIN SCHEDULE of the contract, in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, all of which are made part hereof. All work materials and services not expressly called for in the specifications or shown on the drawings but which are necessary for completion of the contract requirements shall be performed and furnished by the Contractor at no increase in cost to the Government. A site visit is encouraged, but not mandatory Baldhill Dam Project is located near Valley City, North Dakota in Barnes County. The intent of this scope of work is to perform the following services as specified at the Baldhill Dam Project: Mowing/Trimming. An estimated 24 acres will be mowed and trimmed in a manner as to protect the sod, trees, shrubs and fixtures and to ensure the safety of all persons and property around the mowing operations. The Contractor shall document all mowing and trimming in the Quality Control Report form. Mowing and trimming activities may vary according to the weather conditions and visitation usage. The quoted price shall be per each mowing for each area as described in Attachment 1. Weather and moisture conditions may vary week to week. Frequencies and timing of mowing’s may fluctuate. It’s expected, at a minimum, that the contractor will utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities to plan work around weather forecasts and moisture conditions. Total mowing areas per site is shown in Attachment 1. The total complete mowing’s per contract period not to exceed 16. Each mowing will be scheduled at the Governments direction. The grass shall be kept to a length between 2.5” and 4.5”. The initial and final mowing will be to mulch leaves and clear camp pads of debris. These will be separate CLIN items. The first mowing will take place in May when camper presence during the week is minimal. The final mow will take place after October 1st, when the campgrounds are closed for the season. The total number of camp pads is 146. All mowing and trimming in the campground areas shall be performed Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.; and on Fridays between 8 A.M. and 2 P.M. Mowing and trimming of the day use areas shall be Monday through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. Soft and damp ground which may be rutted by mowing operations shall be allowed to dry prior to mowing. No mowing or trimming shall be conducted on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays without the Contracting Officer’s approval. All branches, paper, cans and other debris shall be removed prior to mowing. Mowed areas shall have a uniform and un-tattered appearance with no scalped areas. Grass clippings shall be left on the ground for mulch except when clumps and large accumulations of clippings/debris may smother the grass. All clippings and other debris which have blown onto the sidewalks and paved surfaces shall be removed immediately upon completion of the area.
