The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a contractor to supply abrasion resistant spiral butt-welded steel pipe, which will be used to transfer dredged material to an offloading site. The Contractor shall provide 10 - 54 ft (54’-0”) sections and 10 – 46 ft (46’-0”) sections of abrasion resistant spiral butt-welded pipe with flanges on each end. The pipe must have plain square cut ends continuous run. The inside diameter must not be less than 20”. The outside diameter must be twenty-one inches. (21”) The wall thickness must not be less than three eights of an inch. (3/8”) The pipe shall contain the following typical properties: Carbon: .30 - .35 Manganese: 1.00 – 1.50 Silicon: .15 - .30 Brinell Hardness: 160 – 190 The pipe shall have pipe flanges welded to each end of the pipe per the drawing below. The flanges shall be aligned end to end within ± 1°. Please see drawings in SOW for flange specifications. The flange dimensions & tolerances shall be in accordance with ANSI B16.5. The Carbon steel flanges mechanical properties and chemistry shall conform to ASTM A105. Pipe shall be delivered FOB (Fountain City, WI) no later than 1 April 2022. Amendment 0001 has been posted. This amendment adds information about the steel flanges, and extends the solicitation close.
