The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement for a contractor capable of providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to meet the requirements for the Drain 27 Native Plantings project. The Drain 27 Wetland Restoration Project is in Cass County near Horace, North Dakota. The project area is approximately 345 acres. The scope of this contract is to establish native plantings in excavated pools, in upland buffers, along an earthen embankment, and in a borrow ditch that have been constructed by others. The site will be ready to begin planting in Spring 2023. The project work includes soil preparation, planting of custom native seed mixes, monitoring, and maintenance of the native plantings for up to 5-years. Maintenance will include, but not be limited to, watering, control of invasive species, mowing, prescribed burning, and re-seeding of areas if necessary. The anticipated magnitude of this project is between $1.0 Million and $5.0 Million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 115112; Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating with a size standard of $8.5 Million. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract. The solicitation is a Total Small Business set-aside. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bid.
