The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District seeks a Contractor to provide repair and rehabilitation services to the pedestrian footbridge over the BNSF railroad tracks at Lock & Dam 4, Alma, Wisconsin. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to furnish performance and payment bonds, remove the bridgespan (hoist by crane to adjacent parking lot), sandblast, paint, make repairs to structural components, and re-install bridgespan on piers over active railroad tracks. Please read the "Definitive Responsibility Criteria" section (pg 12 of specs) carefully. The apparent low bidder must provide documentation of all certifications within five days of bid opening, in order to receive the contract award. This solicitation is issued as an Unrestricted Invitation for Bid (IFB) with Full & Open Competition. An Offer Guarantee (bid bond) is required.
