The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District (USACE) is planning to solicit a requirement for the McGregor Lake Habitat Rehabilitation and Enhancement Project (HREP) Construction – Stage 2. This HREP project includes the construction of floodplain forests and berms of various sizes and shapes within the Mississippi River, near Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. USACE intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in June 2022 that will be a 100% Small Business set-aside competition for award of one (1) firm-fixed-price contract. The contract completion will be no later than November 29, 2024, if option(s) exercised. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $39.5M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds. This synopsis is not a Request for Quotes, Proposals, or Bids. In accordance with FAR Part 36, this is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for award of one firm-fixed-price contract is intended to be publicized on https://SAM.gov in the near future.
